By train

The nearest station is Stroud. There are direct trains from London Paddington (about 1 hour 30 minutes) and regular connections from Gloucester, Cheltenham and Swindon.

From the station, the hall is about a 10-minute taxi ride (roughly £12). Taxis are easy to find outside the station, but it's worth booking one in advance for the evening. We'll also run a free shuttle from the station at 1pm and 1.20pm, and back to the station at the end of the night.

By car

Follow signs for Slad from the A46 (or the B4070). The last stretch is a narrow country lane, so please take it slowly and watch for oncoming cars.

There is free parking in the field next to the hall, with room for about 40 cars. Some satnavs struggle with the postcode, so look out for the white gate and the sign with our names on it.

Dress code

Smart but comfortable. Part of the day is in the garden, so please think about the grass: flat or block-heeled shoes will be much happier than thin heels. Bring a layer for the evening, and perhaps a sunhat or umbrella. Garden party colours are very welcome.

Children

Children are very welcome at the ceremony, the drinks and the meal. The evening party from 8.30pm is for grown-ups, so you may want to plan for little ones to head home or to bed before then.

Please include any children in the number of guests when you reply, and mention their names and any food needs in the RSVP form.

Gifts

Having you with us is the best present we could ask for. If you'd like to give us something anyway, we'd love a contribution to our honeymoon fund rather than a gift.

It will go towards the things we'll remember: good food, a few adventures, and some well-earned rest. Thank you, truly.

PLACEHOLDER: add your bank details or a link to your honeymoon fund here, or say you'll have a card box on the day. Delete this box afterwards.
