Hello, I'm Tom

I walk canal towpaths in my spare time and write a few notes about each walk afterwards.

I like the pace of a towpath. It's flat, it's quiet, and there's always a boat, a heron or a lock to look at. I started writing things down so I could remember which walks were worth repeating, and which ones had a good pub at the end.

These are just my own notes, written for friends and for anyone else who fancies a gentle walk by the water. If you've got a favourite stretch of towpath, I'd love to hear about it.
